Corrine McMillan is the current Member for Mansfield and comes from a 26 year long career as an educator and school Principal, most recently the Principal of Cavendish Road State High School.
Corrine has delivered more than $120 million for the 19 schools in her Electorate and works closely with the local sporting clubs and community organisations.
Corrine is a 2015 Churchill Fellow and a recipient of an Australian Public Education Foundation Scholarship to study at Harvard University. Corrine holds a Master Degree in Educational Leadership.
Janet Wishart has spent her working life helping those in our community who are most in need. She’s a powerful community advocate and your lnp candidate for Mansfield.
Janet has worked in aged care, disability services, palliative care and advocating for children at risk. She has run a small business, been a pastor and with her husband Dugald are raising three teenage children. She knows firsthand the pressures local families face whether it be rising cost of living or increasing congestion plaguing local roads.
Having dedicated her entire life to helping others, Janet cares passionately about the community she is determined to represent. In addition to volunteering with many charities, Janet founded a support group for mothers of children with special needs after her eldest son was diagnosed with a chronic physical condition that required him to undergo 20 operations.
Sick and tired of watching from the sidelines, and seeing her local suburbs being neglected by a Labor government with the wrong priorities, Janet has stepped up the mark and is determined to provide the people of Mansfield with the strong representation they deserve.
I believe that a fair Queensland is possible. We can create a state where everyone has what we need to live a good life, like world-leading schools and secure, high-quality housing. I’m running for Mansfield because I think the 2020 election can be the first step along the path to better and fairer lives.
The electorate of Mansfield is tremendously lucky, with a beautiful natural environment and a safe, diverse community. However, growing inequality, climate change and habitat destruction threaten our way of life and the natural world we all rely on.
In 2011, I was so concerned about these threats that I changed career direction. I have always been committed to making the world a better place, including fighting for my rights as a gay man and working in education for most of my career, but I realised that just about every problem in the world has an economic element and I wanted to understand more.
I started an economics degree in 2011 as a mature age student, graduating in 2015 with first-class honours. What I discovered was that the lessons of economics are consistently ignored by governments. Appeasing media owners, maintaining elite networks and satisfying big donors all trump the concerns of ordinary Queenslanders.
From doomed privatisations to dodgy property deals, successive Queensland governments have risked the things that make the Mansfield area a wonderful place to live. We need to send a clear message to both of the old parties that we want the state to be governed for us, not for corporate donors or private school mates.
If you want to build a fairer Queensland, please join our movement.

Joe Kelly knows that access to high quality health care and education is fundamental to building a strong community. For over 25 years Joe has worked as a nurse and is a strong advocate for preventive health programs.
Joe believes we need to build a strong and carefully managed economy that benefits all Queenslanders.
Joe has lived in the Greenslopes area for over 17 years and is a passionate advocate for his local community. He is active in several community groups including P&Cs, disability services and local environment groups.
He currently serves as the Chair of the Ethics Committee.
Andrew Newbold is your local LNP candidate for Greenslopes.
Initially training as a baker, Andrew has managed a range of retail and hospitality businesses and led his local school’s P&C.
He knows how important it is to have a strong economy that creates more jobs and funds the services that families rely on – like better schools, hospitals and roads.
Hi! I’m Victor, and like most people, I’m looking for hope.
I have a Bachelor of Science from UQ and a Master’s degree in Australian Social Policy from Griffith University. I am a technology professional with extensive experience in leading teams and managing major projects and large budgets.
Outside of my professional life work, I have enjoyed playing in bands, DJing, keeping fit and travelling. I’ve had many great adventures from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to touring Europe playing bass guitar in a punk rock band. I have also volunteered and raised funds for community organisations, including 4ZZZ FM radio, wildlife recovery and revegetation projects.
Our family arrived in Australia after the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia. Our first home was a tiny flat in Greenslopes, and my first school was Buranda State Primary. My parents worked hard and encouraged me to study and explore.
Business as usual and politics as usual have let us all down. The COVID-19 crisis has revealed just how flawed our current system is and who it serves.
Let’s not return to the way things were. We don’t have to accept people sleeping rough on city streets, poor public transport and the privatisation of our most vital services such health, education, electricity, water, aged care, and child care.
Let’s build something better.
Jasmine “Jazzy” is a natural health advocate and has cultivated a keen interest in human rights and freedom of choice. Equality is high on her priority list, including gender and race, as well as economic, health and opportunity.
After 15 years in the Community Welfare sector, Jasmine found an interest in Natural Therapies. She is currently an accredited Bowen Therapy practitioner and an Instructor of Bowen Therapy, facilitating her clients to change their lives for the better.
Jasmine is also passionate about community and the importance of rebuilding the robust support networks which past generations thrived on.
She understands the important role volunteers play in the community and the support needed in this area. During the devastating bushfires of 2019, Jasmine packed up her car and headed to NSW to support bushfire volunteers with Bowen Therapy treatments. During her time in NSW, Jasmine worked on 51 people, comprising firefighters, helicopter pilots, ground staff and related volunteers. All of whom were very grateful for the support and relief she provided to them.
Jasmine has also been a volunteer Board Member for various community groups and encourages all members of the community to get involved with local groups and clubs.
The areas Jasmine feels passionate about are:
She lives her life by following her truth, which she hopes will make her community and Queensland a better place. Jasmine will strive to:
