Small Business Expo Focuses on Jobs and Economic Recovery
The Brisbane Southside Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the upcoming Brisbane Business and Jobs Expo this November.
The Expo has taken greater significance due to the economic impact of COVID, and will be meeting the COVID-Safe requirements stipulated by government.
Small Business Expos CEO Paula Brand sees the expo as key to economic recovery and stimulation.
“It is vital that we work together to rebuild our business community.” Ms Brand said
“So many businesses are doing it tough right now, and many of them need more customers to keep afloat”
This year will also have a greater focus on improving small-business employment numbers, with free services aimed at job-seekers, and mentorship programs for micro-businesses.
Other activities include Speed Networking, Panel Sessions on Women in Business, Stands for Small Businesses, and Live Entertainment.
The Expo will be at Hibiscus Sports Centre on November 11, starting at 10am to 4pm, and will be accepting gold coin donations on entry.
